John Wall Leads Kentucky In Exciting Win Over UConn

John Wall helped number 4 rank Kentucky win over number 14 ranked University of Connecticut.

John Wall, freshman point guard, scored 25 points leading the Kentucky Wildcats to an exciting win over UConn.

In the last 7 1/2 minutes the freshman scored 12 points. A 3 pointer with only 30.8 seconds left in the game sealed the win. Kentucky remains unbeaten with their 64-41 win over the University of Connecticut at Madison Square Garden.

The Big East/SEC invitational had the excitement of a championship game, and was a turning point for the freshman John Wall. He ended the game with a total of 25 points and 6 steals in the win.

UConn, with a record of 6-2, attempted several times to tie the game. Gavin Edwards missed a 3 pointer which ended up being the game winner for Kentucky.

Another notable player was Patrick Patterson who finished with 16 points for Kentucky following his 68-66 victory over North Carolina last Saturday.
